About the team/role

You'll join an energetic and diverse HRBP team based across Brazil,Mexico and Colombia. In this team we support multiple global functions of 450-500 HCs, spanning across 12+ countries on full cycle HRBP body of work. Given the promising growth stage and the complex nature of business function setup, our HRBP work is dynamic and challenging with loads of opporunities to unleash your creativity and HR practice excellence.

We partner with business stakeholders of all levels and as a team deliver a variety of work and thought-partnership, planning, and end-to-end executions on Organization, Talent, and Engagement pillars. Each business function is unique in its own way and the scope portfolio in the team allows us to find synergy in HR practices and meanwhile learn from differences.

In this role, you'll be...

  • Providing thought partnership: Being a pragmatic thought partner to leadership on people-related topics, dedicating time to understand function objectives and dynamics, while partnering with leaders to analyze and make complex decisions in Org, Talent, and Engagement that align with business objectives;
  • Enhancing organization effectiveness, efficiency, and change management: Partnering with leaders to evolve organizational design to improve collaboration, efficiency, and talent capability building, from organizational structure and workforce planning to talent allocation, while driving meticulous change management to ensure the success of organizational changes;
  • Developing talent strategy: Designing and implementing creative and customized initiatives at the function level to address talent pipeline opportunities;
  • Mastering the People Cycle: Developing and executing the People Cycle agenda with excellence, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities while managing the complexity of an employee population across 12 countries;
  • Managing engagement & HR communications: Overseeing engagement tools and initiatives to stay on top of team dynamics, supporting leaders in addressing opportunities, and taking ownership of People-related communications to ensure key messages are delivered efficiently and precisely;
  • Defining and tracking People OKRs: Collaborating with business leaders to define and track People OKRs, creating and implementing initiatives that enable the achievement of People Objectives;
  • Contributing to global HR capability development: Making significant contributions to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and tools by working with HQ COE teams to find and address opportunities for DiDi International Business Group.

We're eager to be in touch because you have...

  • 5+ years of HR experience in medium-large scale businesses. A mixture of HRBP and COE background is ideal but not mandatory.
  • Experience in regional/global scope is a plus. For candidates with pure local experience, we are seeking someone who’s culturally open-minded and savvy collaborator with eagerness to grow in a rapid, diverse environment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide HR consultation/influence to managers and employees on (some or all of) issues regarding staffing, compensation, employee relations, policies and performance management .
  • Creative thinker and problem solver, able to manage multiple projects and connect these initiatives to higher strategy and context that are also simultaneously evolving
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working partnerships with stakeholders as well as HR counterparts (HR COE, HR Ops, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; advanced English proficiency
