About the team/role

By joining 99’s Legal team as our new Senior Litigation Counsel, you will be responsible for preventing and resolving disputes of a series of matters, specially in Civil and Consumer Law. You will be required to work well in teams and in cross-functional projects and have a special interest and passion for technology.

In this role, you'll be...

  • Managing lawsuits portfolio (mainly civil and consumer litigation, but other matters are included), with close monitoring of special cases, defining strategies and enhancing thesis;
  • Keeping track of provisions and contingencies;
  • Providing legal support to internal teams (especially Customer Service and Safety teams), in order to improve processes and prevent litigation;
  • Answering consultations from internal clients measuring risks and advising on how to better proceed under different situations.

We're eager to be in touch because you have...

  • Have bachelor’s degree in Law;
  • Valid license to practice Law in Brazil (OAB);
  • Strong litigation background, either in law firms or as in-house counsel;
  • Deep knowledge of Civil and Consumer Law;
  • Excel Intermediate knowledge;
  • Have communication and organizational skills to work with multi-level and cross-functional projects and be able to define priorities;
  • Fluent in English.
