About the team/role

Overview:

  • We are looking for an experienced Partnership Manager based in Brazil to build and manage our credit risk and core infrastructure partner portfolio to support our growth of the credit business
  • This role focuses on vendor strategy and management, performance monitoring, and commercial optimization
  • This role covers the partner management through the full credit lifecycle — including pre-loan bureau partnerships, third-party data sourcing, post-loan recovery infrastructure, and credit distribution channels
  • This role requires strong commercial acumen, sound understanding of the local fintech landscape of the credit business, and the ability to work across global and local teams to support to optimize our credit risk management infrastructure and performance.
  • This role works closely with Credit Strategy, Collection Operations, Risk, Product, and external partners

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard key local providers across the credit risk lifecycle, including pre-loan data (bureaus, Open Finance), post-loan collection/recovery platforms, and credit marketplace channels.
  • Commercial & Contract Excellence: Negotiate and manage contracts with partners to optimize cost, performance and compliance. Benchmark pricing and manage commercial terms for a sustainable cost structure.
  • Integration & Solution Delivery Support: Serve as the primary point of contact between local business teams and global risk/product teams to translate requirements into effective partner solutions and support the integration of new data products and APIs.
  • Performance & Vendor Governance: Monitor partner performance against SLAs and business objectives. Execute structured vendor evaluations and ROI analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Market & Regulatory Insight: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Brazil’s regulatory environment and fintech credit risk and infrastructure developing trends to proactively identify new opportunities and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in partnership management, business development, or vendor management within Brazilian fintech, banking, or credit risk infrastructure/solution providers.
  • Deep understanding of Brazilian credit business ecosystem and risk management lifecycle
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, with experience in budgeting and cost optimization.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and professional working proficiency in English.

Preferred:

  • Proven track record in negotiating and managing contracts with key Brazilian credit risk infrastructure and/or SaaS partners.
  • Experience working in a global fintech or tech company with matrix reporting structure.
  • Background in risk operations, analytics, or consulting within the Brazilian market.
