In this role, you will work at the intersection of strategy and operations, using data to inform decisions that shape how the product performs in different local contexts. You will support the marketplace team in the discovery of insights and building + implementation of execution plans, contributing to both global frameworks and local adaptations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex data, ambiguous problems, and real world operational constraints, and who wants to have a direct impact on how a premium marketplace operates at scale.

As part of the team, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the DiDi Premier marketplace strategy across multiple cities and countries. You will work on a premium, low density marketplace where supply and demand must be actively designed rather than assumed.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands on execution. You will be expected to help the team analyze marketplace dynamics, track the competitive environment and support the operational rollout in close collaboration with Product, Operations, and regional teams; key actionables of this role are:

  • Help track competitive pricing across different geographies, and build/present reports and its insights to senior leadership.
  • Supporting the implementation of the operational strategy on a day to day basis, ensuring our targeted initiatives reach the correct customers and the correct timing.
  • Extract, transform and load data into dashboards and trackers, ensuring the team is operating with the most up-to-date insights and both inform & participate in day to day decisions.
  • Support market intelligence initiatives to measure driver sentiment and support the building of campaigns to improve our product's perception to our driver base.
  • Participate in transforming analytical and geographical insights into clear, actionable guidance for local teams and fleet partners, helping them operate closer to demand and with greater efficiency.

We're eager to be in touch because you have...

  • A current academic background in Business, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and interest in operations, growth, analytics, strategy, or similar roles within the tech industry.
  • Good storytelling skills with the desire to learn more and improve them.
  • An analytical, data first mindset that enjoys the insight building process in an ambiguous environment. Familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar tools is strongly preferred.
  • Solid problem solving skills, including the ability to work through ambiguity and willing to test ideas and take calculated risks.
  • Strong communication skills, with business fluency in English and Spanish and the ability to work effectively with cross functional and external partners.
